Ha ha. I was actually toying with the idea of making “Internet” the thing that kept him awake at night. But I felt that explaining what you actually do online until that late is a little bit complicated and varies a lot from person to person. Watching the TV felt more universal, easier to explain in one sentence and more easily relatable to most. Thus making the joke a little simpler. The constraint of the three-square-story is real. :)
It is? Huh, I never knew that. That’s good to know. Makes sense. Used to have a colleague who always told me about how he couldn’t even go one weekend without his sleep schedule getting completely turned around. He wasn’t really a cheery guy either. Hmm.
I hate when this happens and it occurs all to frequently. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results…I guess that makes me insane ;)

I think a lot of people can relate. This may as well be a sign of depression if your day-night scheme gets fucked up entirely.
